Admission Exercise Update: Jamb gives commencement date for the 2020/2021 school Admission –JAMB has given all tertiary institution (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) a mandate to begin admission of UTME candidates for the 2020/2021 academic session.

JAMB has officially announced the date for the commencement of the admission by all tertiary institutions.

JAMB’s Registrar, Is-haq Oloyede, on Sunday, provided 2020 admission guidelines.

JAMB warned tertiary institutions not to give any admission outside the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

When will JAMB Admission 2020/2021 Begin?

JAMB has authenticated and approved August 21 for all tertiary institutions to commence first and second choice admission for the 2020/2021 academic session.

How to Gain Admission this year

You must first upload your Olevel result in your JAMB CAPS.

You must score the cut mark of the institution’s Post UTME cut of mark.

Register for the institution post utme screening exercise.

Ensure you go for the screening on your scheduled date.

Ensure you score high in the post utme screening.

When will Tertiary Institution release Admission List 2020?

The 1st and 2nd Choices Admission Exercise be conducted for all institutions from 21st August 2020 to a later date that would be determined by the Federal Ministry of Education and communicated to all the institutions. That is when admission list will start coming out.

If you are yet to upload your O’Level to JAMB, do so now before it becomes late before or after the your Screening Exercise.

JAMB CAPS 2020/2021 Admission

Candidates can start checking their admission status on JAMB CAPS from August 21, 2020.
